Portavoce Coach

Are you looking for a Public Speaking Coach who can take you from being frightened to stand in front of a group of people to commanding the attention of the room and impressing?
I’m Rowan Draper and I’m a veteran performer and public speaker. I’ve been training in my craft for over 20 years. Presenting to academics, business owners, charities, journalists, local and national politicians, students and graduates as well as performing in Open Air, Film and to paying Theatre audiences of over 400.
As a trained Dramatist I’ve acted in Sophocles’ Antigone, Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, Arthur Miller’s The Crucible and a whole host of musicals including Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls and Bugsy Malone. Not content with acting I’ve had numerous roles behind the scenes and directed We Will Rock You at Newman University.
Utilising the skills of the performing arts I’ve given back to my community leading the local Arts Council as Chair of its Board of Trustees and as Secretary for the Support Stafford Hospital campaign, which organised a protest demonstration of 50,000 people on the streets of Stafford in 2013.
I’ve also served as an elected Councillor for 8 years and was the youngest Deputy Mayor of my Borough. Prior to this honour I gave evidence about being a councillor to the Communities and Local Government Committee in 2012. I graduated from the Local Government Association’s Next Generation Programme in 2016 and before leaving local government I served as a leading politician and Resources Spokesperson in Opposition.
Rowan Draper is Portavoce Coach. He provides public speaking courses in Stafford, Staffordshire, Stone, Lichfield, Newcastle under Lyme, Cannock and Burton upon Trent.
