Frequently Asked Questions
Since then I’ve built up a body of work of performance work that includes Shakespeare, Sophocles and Sondheim. I’ve used these skills to present to academics, business owners, charities, journalists, local and national politicians, students and graduates as well as performing in Open Air, Film and to paying Theatre audiences of over 400.
Outside of performing I have also had numerous roles behind the scenes like Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager, which has given me the opportunity to develop my personnel management skills, and I directed We Will Rock You at Newman University.
I have completed both BTEC First Diploma and National Diploma in Performing Arts. In 2010, I graduated with a 2.1 (hons) Degree in Drama. These experiences have given me the opportunity to direct and coach other performers.
I am currently undertaking a postgraduate research degree focusing on the work of British Dramatist and playwright Edward Bond.

I think it’s nonsense and I would never advise anyone to use it. Why would you put yourself through the added pressure of attempting to imagine people naked whilst you’re supposed to be focused on speaking?
Taking focus away from your presentation, when you’re already nervous is counter-intuitive to me, especially if you want to make a connection with people in the audience. You do want to make a connection with your audience because that’s what separates an average speaker and great speaker.
Imagine what would happen if you were using this method when looking at someone you find attractive? I wouldn’t want to face that dilemma.
